Itoshima Peninsula Kitazaki Rural Walk & Famnic Tour!

Itoshima Peninsula Kitazaki Rural Walk

Feel the wind, feel the soil, and rediscover the beautiful climate, lifestyle, and activities of the people that remain in the Kitazaki area ! Kitazaki Fudoki Course

Kitazaki has long flourished as a hub for exchange with the continent and as a place associated with the Kuroda family, and its history and culture remain to this day. Facing Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea, the area is blessed with abundant nature, and although it is located near Fukuoka city, agriculture and fishing are thriving here. You can take a leisurely stroll around the charms of Kitazaki with a local guide, and get a glimpse of life there while enjoying an agricultural experience in the fields of the Kitazaki Future Creation Association, which aims to preserve the local way of life without letting the fields go to waste, by creating compost in a circular way without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers and keeping the soil healthy. Let's take a walk through spring in Kitazaki!
