A trip where you can experience the SDGs !
Itoshima Peninsula Kitazaki Rural Walk

Itoshima Peninsula Kitazaki Rural Walk

Feel the wind, feel the soil, and experience the beautiful climate and lifestyle preserved in the Kitazaki area .

Rediscover the lives of people! Kitazaki Fudoki Course

Kitazaki district has long flourished as a hub for exchange with the continent and a place associated with the Kuroda family, and its history and culture remain to this day. Facing Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea, the area is blessed with abundant nature, and although it is located near Fukuoka city, agriculture and fishing are thriving. You can take a leisurely walk around the charms of Kitazaki with a local guide, and get a glimpse of their lifestyle while enjoying an agricultural experience in the fields of the Kitazaki Future Creation Association, which aims to preserve the local way of life without destroying the fields, by creating compost in a circular way without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers and keeping the soil healthy.

*What is Kitazaki Rural Walk ?

Take a leisurely stroll through rural areas and seaside areas accompanied by a local guide and experience the seasons, local history, customs, and lifestyles of the area through your five senses.
